Our work is more about how we get there
than the end result.
The practice and art of our work
is within the alchemy of its
transformative force.
The vision is more a realization
of where we are in the creative process
than what the creative process actually is.

i realize deeply that this all is very true. i wonder where would be my beginning...
i work with words, but earlier i used to draw and paint all the time. now i hardly practise my hadnwriting.
because it is not very likely that i (very soon) can afford and come to learn with you in Maine, could you please give me piece of an advice. what (small) regular drawing or painting exercise would you suggest me, to get in the process (of inner me)...
i used to paint (rather successfully) strictly religiously regulated works, icons - it locked me innerly. now i just want to start unrevealing my inner, to begin the travel, maybe long. to touch colors!! to use brushes! -
i listen to all you say carefully and with respect, and quite humbly ask you to give me some small painting/drawing task. what ever you choose.
so i would not be all alone in this.
i have color pens, small canvases, papers, acrylics, powder pigments and the knowledge of tempera technique.. i have all. just not the power to begin. would you wise and kind people give me the task.
i promise to my inner being, to the spirit and Grace - to commit sincerely the task. and show the results of it to you.
